Handover is part of the job

Catalogues, tests, runbooks, named owners. We would rather leave you able to run it than invent a reason to stay. If you want us back, it should be for the next problem.

We will decline the wrong work

If the data cannot support the claim, or the brief is a tool in search of a question, we say no. That conversation is cheaper than a failed programme.
