Commitment

iDataMaze is committed to net zero greenhouse-gas emissions by 2049, ahead of the UK’s 2050 duty, covering the IT, data, AI and cybersecurity work we actually do.

What the official plan reports

Baseline year 2023. Current reporting year 2024. The signed PDF sets out Scope 1, 2 and 3 in the PPN 06/21 layout. We do not restate every tonne here - the file is the source, including the chart of target versus actual.

Near-term target in that plan: reduce to 7.0 tCO₂e by 2030 (a 30% cut on the path described there).

What we are doing

  • Office electricity on a renewable tariff; LED and heating under control.
  • Cloud on providers that publish a carbon path; idle resource is waste.
  • Remote delivery when a site visit would be theatre; rail in Great Britain when it would not.
  • Keep laptops in service; recycle kit rather than refresh on a marketing cycle.
  • Paperless as the default; offsets only for what we cannot yet cut, and only verified schemes.

Declaration

The PDF was completed in accordance with PPN 06/21, the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, SECR for Scopes 1 and 2, and the required Scope 3 subset. It has been reviewed and signed off by the directors.
